MTA appoints new UK director

Alex Incorvaja is the Malta Tourism Authority’s newly-appointed Director, responsible for UK & Ireland. Mr. Incorvaja, 35, who is now based at the Malta Tourist Office in London, hails from the hospitality sector, specializing in Marketing, PR & Sales.

Up until his new appointment, Alex Incorvaja was Director of Sales and Marketing at the InterContinental Malta. He previously held various Sales Manager positions within the Starwood Hotels & Resorts group in Malta and Rome whilst, initially, also having been employed as an executive, Marketing directorate, at the MTA’s predecessor organization, the NTOM. Alex was also a council member of the Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association (MHRA) for a number of years, holding various posts within the association. As Director of the UK office, Alex Incorvaja is responsible for co-ordinating all the MTA’s marketing and promotional efforts in the UK and Ireland, Malta’s foremost tourism source market.
