EYES ON MALTA – Online Video Competition

‘Eyes on Malta’ is the title of a new international video competition that was officially launched by the Malta Tourism Authority on the 13th of March, during the ITB travel fair in Berlin.

The competition, aimed at tourists visiting the Maltese islands, will run until October 31st 2009 and is open to both amateur and professional video producers. Those who wish to participate are invited to create an original video, not more than 5 minutes in length, showing why Malta is such a great place to visit for a holiday. Participants can register using the form on www.visitmalta.com/eyesonmalta before submitting their entry. Videos meeting the technical criteria will then be uploaded onto a dedicated channel on YouTube from where they can be viewed, shared and rated.

The ten most viewed and highest rated videos will be shortlisted and each will receive a complimentary visitmalta promotional gift pack. The overall winner will be selected by a judging panel nominated by the MTA. The grand prize consists of a one week five-star holiday in Malta for two persons at the Fortina Spa Resort, all-inclusive, plus €1000 spending money.
