On the 20th October 2008, the official inauguration of this world class Exhbition about the Knights of St John, took place in Paris. The exhbition was organised by The Maltese Embassy in France on the initiative of the Ambassador her Excellency Dr Vicki Anne Cremona and Heritage Malta, it was also sponsored by the Malta Tourism Authority amongst others.

Maltese Heritage on show at Les Invalides

“Between the battlesword and the cross: masterpieces of the armoury of Malta,” - Musée Des Invalides, Paris

This exhibition took over a year of preparation and planning, due to the sheer size and value of the exhibits on loan from Malta. It is also the first time an exhibiton of this scale and quality has been taken abroad.

In addition to this exhbition, on the 26th November the MTA together with the Malta Experience will organise an event exclusively for tourism professionals centered around the exhibition. Guests will also be able to see the Malta Experience in an auditorium of Les Invalides. This will probably be the first time that the Malta Experience will be used as a marketing tool abroad
