Malta at the ‘Borsa Mediterranea del turismo archeologico’
MTA set up a stand at the 10th edition of the Borsa Mediterranea del Turismo Archeologico which was held in Paestum near Salerno, Italy from 15-18 November 2007.
MTA also participated in a workshop for specialised tour operators in cultural tourism from around the world in order to promote Malta as an ideal cultural destination. During the event Dominic Micallef, MTA Segment Head for History & Culture met Lord Colin Renfrew, the world renowned archaeologist and Mr Andrew Selkirk, editor of Current World Archaeology, one of the best British archaeology magazines on the Malta stand.
