The MTA Benelux office planned a national and regional campaign with radio spots and banner advertising on prominent Dutch websites

Last minute campaign in the Netherlands

In order to boost summer – and last minute bookings the Malta Tourism Authority has launched an extensive radio campaign in the Netherlands.

The radio spots will focus on the diversity of the Maltese Islands and online bookings will be stimulated by mentioning the www.maltalastminute.nl website.

As from Monday June 18th, the MTA Benelux office has coordinated various national and regional radio spots as well as web advertising. The radio commercial will feature on national station “Sky radio” for a two week period till July 1st, 2007. Simultaneously a regional campaign has been launched on “City FM” for a period of 3 months and 12 radio spots will be featured daily.

In collaboration with Dutch tour operator, JIBA, a third radio campaign, has been initialised this week on “Q-music”. This campaign consists of a daily prize competition and Dutch consumers can win a short break including VIP tickets to the Bryan Adams concert in Malta on the 28th of June. In total 5 short breaks and 10 VIP tickets will be awarded this week.

To enhance online bookings, MTA web banners will be advertised till end of August on www.startpagina.nl, www.vakantie.overzicht.nl and on www.malta.startpagina.nl.

Startpagina is the second best viewed website in the Netherlands and a target of 1.875.000 individual viewers is to be reached through these three websites.
