The 27th edition of The Farsons Great Beer Festival

The MTA is once again supporting yet another great summer event, The 27th Edition of the Farsons Great Beer Festival, taking place at Ta’ Qali Park between the July 27 and August 5.

In keeping with the policy of supporting diversity in our tourism product, the MTA is one of the sponsors of The Farsons Great Beer Festival. Mr Kevin Drake, MTA Communications and Public Relations Director, called The Festival “a mainstay in the annual Maltese Events Calendar, an icon of Maltese Summer Nights for 27 years!”. He said it is no coincidence that this year The Ministry for Culture and Tourism and the MTA were sponsoring so many events, making this the most happening year ever. Mr Kevin Drake said, “It was a clear conscious decision to improve our product offer”. He explained that Malta’s ever increasing and varied calendar of events is a tourist attraction in itself and we must aspire to events of quality and class.

This emphasis on quality was echoing Mr Matthew Cuomo, Festival Organiser’s, earlier comment that this year more than ever the focus of the organisers was placed on quality. Through the support of the MTA and other sponsors we can look forward to a free top quality family event. 10 days of flowing local and foreign beers, food from every corner of the world and definitely the longest list of singers, bands and performers found in a Maltese event, hosted on two stages.
