The Malta Tourism Authority's UK office recently sponsored a Family Holiday Association event at the Adelphi Theatre, London, at a special performance of the hit West End show Evita.

The event was a great success and the evening raised over £7,000 for the FHA. The leading lady (Eva Peron) played by Argentinean Elena Roger, expressed an interest in visiting Malta and, to this end, was invited over by the MTA for a familiarization visit. Whilst in Malta Ms. Roger also find the time to meet the Malta press to talk about her experiences as leading lady in the smash-hit musical.

Elena Roger is currently receiving rave reviews in the British press for her role as Argentinian first lady Eva Peron in the Lloyd-Webber/Rice musical, with some journalists describing her as the "Best Evita ever".
