SUCCESS OF THOMAS COOK CONFERENCE IN MALTA
Following a recent survey conducted by Thomas Cook UK & Ireland, to gauge the success of their recent Annual Conference held in December 2006, Malta came out with flying colours.

The company selected Malta as the location for its conference based on our high standard of accommodation and facilities, the established tourism infrastructure, convenience of location and the professionalism demonstrated by all those involved during the research and planning process.
This conference, which saw 2 groups of 1000 delegates each, arriving back to back between the 2nd and the 8th of December, was handled by Thomas Cook UK & Ireland’s local handling agents, SMS, in conjunction with the Malta Tourism Authority.
The results from this survey confirmed that Malta left an indelible positive impression in the mind of most participants. The event which was particularly praised was the Welcome Cocktail organised on the first night for both groups, at the Upper Barrakka Gardens. During this evening, the guests where treated to a spectacular Son et Lumiere Show depicting the story of Malta, accompanied by fireworks.
